Slight stretch of a theme – but there’s a man under there so technically this is a mask! Taken last week during the International Dragon Boat Festival for Breast Cancer Survivors, at Benderson Park.
This weekend just past was the 2014 International Breast Cancer Paddlers Commission Dragon Boat Festival.
About 10 countries took part in the races at Nathan Benderson Park and on Saturday evening there was a parade of each group down Lakewood Ranch Main Street. The familiar pink ribbon balloons were visible everywhere – including on the lamp posts.
This is not my forte as my family will tell you – someone is always out of focus – practice practice. My older son has the habit of closing his eyes on photos so I tend to take a lot so that eventually he’ll have his eyes open.
One of the things I am personally enjoying about this journey we’re on is learning new techniques. This time the challenge was – to replace closed eyes with open ones! – well I did the whole body. It’s just so cool to learn something new! I know many of you are past this stage but for those of you still struggling along – all is possible with youtube! (I have Elements 11) so just specify what programme you are using when searching. Apart from that I decided to copy the Royals on their grouping!!
