52 Weeks of Patricia's Life

Patricia's Photo Project

Week 43. 28. Repeating Patterns

I learnt how to do Focus Stacking in Photoshop recently.   The definition of this is: a digital image processing technique which combines multiple images (15 in this case) taken at different focus distances to give a resulting imagine with a greater depth of field than any of the individual source images.  Looking forward to trying some more.

Week 41. A4. Photographers Choice

My husband Richard’s favorite – Liquorice/licorice Allsorts.  I looked it up and and had a walk down memory lane.  Apparently the first time it was used as a sweet/candy was when sugar was added to the product in Pontefract, Yorkshire.  Oh – yes now I remember them – Pontefract cakes (quarter size flat pats of liquorice) and Liquorice Wheels.

Week 40. A6. Abstract

I started learning about “acrylic pours” a while ago – onto canvas,  I’m sure the interest was sparked by the fact that I probably have more than 60 bottles of different colored acrylic paint.  It’s fun to do – and can be very messy when you get to the larger size – I’m sticking to the small size for the time being.  So – this one had just finished drying and as I walked through the kitchen I popped it onto the counter.  Well – I think we know what colors I favor – it’s almost camouflaged.
